On April 20th, 2010, the beautiful Gulf of Mexico was destroyed. The Deepwater Horizon, a Transocean oil rig licensed by BP exploded and ultimately sank. This was a catastrophic event for the Gulf, one that currently still affects the area. And, at the time of this article, BP Oil Spill claimants continue to wait for their awards.
